Roger Gould, 63, of Memramcook East, died Saturday at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Israël and Sophie (Richard) Gould.

He was a carpenter and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (Gaudet); one daughter, Mrs Dolan LeBlanc (Germaine) of Memramcook East; four sisters, Mrs Vernon Hubley (Amelia) of Bridgewater, N.S., Mrs Aurore LeBlanc of College Bridge, Mrs. Jeannie LeBlanc of Memramcook East, and Mrs. Francis Cormier (Freda) of Toronto, Ont.; four brothers, Amédée of Toronto, Ont., Gérald of Sept Illes, Que., Richard of Lynn, Mass., and Ulysse of Manchester, Conn.; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Arthur, Hector and Normand.

The funeral service will be held today at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Memramcook East. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
